300 MW Baspa–II HEP is accredited for 1 million VER’s per annum and 400 MW Vishnuprayag HEP , the World’s largest Hydropower project in the private sector is accredited for 1.32 Mn. annual Verified Emission Reduction (VERs).
Bina Thermal Power plant – 500 MW
Project Profile JPVL has acquired Bina Power Supply Company Limited (BPSCL) from Aditya Birla Group. BPSCL was set up by the Aditya Birla Group to set up a coal fired Thermal Power Plant at Bina in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The project was commissioned in April 2013.
Nigrie Thermal Power Plant – 2X660 MW
Project Profile Jaypee Nigrie Super Thermal Power Project comprising 2 x 660 MW Super-critical Unit has been set up by JPVL at a site in Nigrie – Village, Tehsil – Deosar, District – Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh. The project was commissioned in February 2015.

Consequent to implementation of approved resolution plan of Jaiprakash Associates Limited (JAL), effective May 21, 2026, JAL’s 24% stake in JPVL has been acquired by Adani Power Limited, an Adani Group Company.
We believe that we shall benefit from the Adani Power’s experience in the conceptualization, design, development, construction and operation of power plants, and will be able to manage multiple aspects of power projects, from front-end engineering design to completion, operation and maintenance.
